rcdbm-main-startprocess-add_rom_path_platform

RCDBManager / Main screen / Start Process / Add ROM path (Platform)

Adds a Platform ROM path to the database. The Platform ROM path is constructed from the user selection and the name of the tree nodes. As base path, the Base ROMs path defined on the Platform node is used. To that, the names of the node-to-be-processed and its parents are added.

Here's an example. Let's assume that the node to be processed is Amstrad CPC\Applications\[BIN] (TOSEC-v2014-10-28_CM).dat. Let's also assume that on the Platform node (Amstrad CPC), the user had right-clicked and selected Configure Platform from the context menu. In the screen that appeared, let's assume that the user had selected C:\EmulatorData\Amstrad CPC in the Base ROMs path field.

Taking into account all of the above, this option will add to the database the ROM path C:\EmulatorData\Amstrad CPC\Applications\[BIN]. The underlined part is the Base ROMs path and the rest are the children of the Platform node, up to the node that is being processed (without the TOSEC date part and the extension). This follows exactly the TOSEC directory structure.
